Hello and welcome to the little corner of the internet where we are passionate about preparing students for life after high school. This curriculum series was borne in 2009, the year that I started teaching, when I was searching aimlessly for resources or lesson plans that articulated real life skills for students with mild/moderate disabilities.

At the time, I was teaching in the heart of Silicon Valley, in Mountain View, CA. I was exposed to a world of innovation, which has inspired my teaching career to this day.

It started with a little website called Teachers Pay Teachers. I posted my first product, which prompted over a decade of summers, early mornings, presenting at conferences and creating, creating, creating! In 2025, I decided to branch off of Teachers Pay Teachers — as I’ve seen an evolved need with AI and teaching students to use these tools for their benefit.
