“This What I Wished I Learned in School job interview bundle was an incredible resource for my speech class! It covers 9 essential interview questions with supportive, well-structured assignments that really prepared my students for real-world situations. I loved that I could easily find related videos on YouTube to expand on the lessons and spark great discussions. By the end of the 10-week assignment, my students were confidently participating in mock interviews — and a few even landed jobs outside of school! It’s a practical, meaningful resource I’ll continue to use in future classes. Highly recommend! My administration has complimented my resources and the progress of this class many times! THANK YOU! As a first year teacher I could not have found a better way to break down this topic and life skill!” - Kayla S.

This is a digital license for up to 10 students.

Job interviewing is by far the most fun, and one of the most useful units we use each year. It doesn't end there. I find myself pulling out these handouts throughout the year, as students start to apply for jobs and need refreshers. Even students who do not take my class come to talk shop and we use the handouts to talk about common job interview questions often.

Nowhere will you find more content and scaffolding for individual job interview questions. At the end of the unit, students will have substantive and thoughtful answers to each interview question discussed. This curriculum was written for high school students, but is accessible if you want to try them out with middle school students as well!
